The capital authorities are strengthening control over the quality of road works: contractors who fail to fulfill their obligations to eliminate defects will be blacklisted and deprived of the right to further participation in municipal tenders.

The roads repaired in 2024 are currently being inspected. If violations are detected, contractor organizations are obliged to eliminate them at their own expense. In case of refusal or delay of works, they will be penalized, as well as banned from participation in public procurement.

To date, one of the sites where defects have been found is Auezov Street. On November 15, 2024, the municipal enterprise “Bishkekasfaltservis” sent a prescription to “ChuiDorService” LLC with the requirement to correct the defects. The company agreed to perform the work as soon as weather conditions allow.

City services continue to monitor the situation so that poor-quality repairs do not remain without consequences, and unscrupulous contractors no longer received municipal orders.
