During the field visit, he inspected a number of construction sites that will be built as part of the irrigation sector in the region. In particular, he familiarised himself with the current state of irrigation systems in the Suzak and Nooken districts and the Chon-Nooken Canal.
During the meetings, Bakyt Torobaev noted that the President had given a number of instructions on the development of the irrigation system. In 2025, 5 billion KGS will be allocated from the state budget to this sector, and 10 large investment projects will be implemented on this basis.
He also stressed the need to review the crop structure in light of climate change and to introduce water-saving technologies.
Following the meetings, decisions were made to complete the design and estimate documentation for the construction of irrigation systems as soon as possible, to specify the necessary resources and to start work on time.
