In Kyrgyzstan, six cooperatives grow organic products that meet international standards. This was reported in the Ministry of Agriculture.

Organic products from Kyrgyz co-operatives are exported to the US, South Korea and Japan. The ministry notes an increase in the range and volume of supplies.

In 2023, the country adopted national standards for organic production. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, it is planned to increase the area of organic farming to 202 thousand hectares, which is about 25% of the total volume of agricultural land.
