In 2024, 3 thousand 693 leasing contracts were concluded in Kyrgyzstan. This is evidenced by the official data of the National Statistical Committee.

All activities of companies were concentrated in Bishkek, and most of the contracts were executed by organisations engaged in financial intermediation and insurance.

According to the data, leasing services were provided by 22 organisations, of which 19 belong to the sphere of financial intermediation. All contracts are concluded on the terms of financial leasing - operational leasing is not recorded in the reports.

At the same time, companies operating on the principles of Islamic finance did not conclude leasing transactions in 2024. Also, the statistics does not include agreements with lessees from CIS countries.

Out of 3 thousand 693 contracts, 3 thousand 616 are executed in the field of financial intermediation, and the remaining 77 - in the field of administrative and auxiliary activities.

Thus, the leasing market in Kyrgyzstan remains concentrated in the capital and mainly serves the financial sector.
