01/15/2025, 10:47The Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan summarized the results of socio-economic development of the country for 2024. The economy continues to grow steadily, maintaining the positive trend that began in 2022-2023.
One of the significant achievements of last year was the successful launch of 102 industrial enterprises within the framework of the project “100 Industrial Enterprises - 2024”. Thanks to this, 8 thousand 315 new jobs were created across the country, and the total investment in the project amounted to $796.8 million.
Among the new enterprises are: small HPP “Isfairam-1” in Kadamjai and “Kurak-Tektir” in Nookat, trade and logistics zone “Kara-Bulak” in At-Bashi, construction materials plant “Min-Bulak” in Naryn, electric wire production enterprise “Bek Cable” in Alameda district, cement plant “Terek-Tash” in Kemin district, gold bullion plant in Kara-Balta and others. As can be seen, the established enterprises cover key sectors of the economy.
Thus, the project “100 Industrial Enterprises - 2024” was of key importance for job creation and investment attraction.
