During the inspection conducted by the military prosecutor's office of Batken garrison, it was found that the responsible officials of the military unit stationed in Batken garrison, in the period from June last year to February 2025, systematically received in cash part of the meat products intended for the personnel.

As a result, the state suffered damage in the amount of 2 million 500 thousand KGS.
A criminal case was initiated under Article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic (embezzlement or misappropriation of entrusted property on a particularly large scale, committed by an official in connection with the performance of official duties).
The investigation is currently underway.
