Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Bakyt Torobaev met with heads and representatives of several Chinese companies operating in agriculture, processing and energy.

During the talks with the management of Zoomlion firm, the issues of supplying specialized agricultural machinery to Kyrgyzstan, and the possibility of opening a training centre for assembling such machinery were considered. Bakyt Torobaev emphasized that now Kyrgyzstan is actively working to expand agricultural exports to China. In this regard, the construction of the control warehouse near the checkpoint “Irkeshtam” on the Kyrgyz-Chinese border and the customs zone “Ulugchat” is being finalized.

This project implementation under the leadership of Heze Water Group Co., Ltd will increase the volume of cargo transportation from Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan to China. At the meeting with representatives of China National Electric Engineering Co., Ltd. the construction of a fertilizer plant in Kyrgyzstan was discussed. Torobaev proposed to create a joint working group of representatives of government agencies of both sides to implement this project.

During the talks with Jiangnan Delivery (GZ) Food Supply Chain Co., Ltd, a company engaged in importing agricultural products, the issues of exchange of experience in the field of e-commerce and the proposal to build a laboratory in Kyrgyzstan which will allow Kyrgyz products to enter the Chinese market freely were discussed. In addition, at meetings with other companies involved in the processing and energy sectors, Bakyt Torobaev noted that the approach to working with investors willing to invest in the Kyrgyz economy has significantly changed. State bodies provide comprehensive support and improved guarantees for investors.
