The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic – Chief of Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, met with Financial Secretary Paul Chan during a working visit to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China (Hong Kong SAR PRC). 

During their meeting, the two parties discussed opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation in the financial, banking, educational, and trade sectors. "Kyrgyzstan is interested in exchanging expertise with the Hong Kong SAR PRC in the development and management of financial centers, the banking system, and logistics hubs," stated Adylbek Kasymaliev. 

The sides also explored the prospects of issuing Kyrgyz Republic bonds in the Hong Kong SAR PRC. In response, the Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong SAR PRC, Paul Chan, emphasized the substantial potential for mutually beneficial partnerships and expressed a willingness to actively promote the development of financial and economic collaboration.
