Altynbek Abduvapov temporarily suspended from the post of Chairman of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic. This was reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.

This decision was made for the time of investigative measures.

Execution of the duties of the chairman is temporarily transferred to Kydykbek Kydyrov, who is the head of the department for the Pervomaisky district of Bishkek of the State Tax Service. The corresponding order was signed by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov.

In addition, the head of the Cabinet signed an order to suspend for the duration of the investigation from the post of Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service suspended Islambek Kydyrgychov.

Recall that the day before, December 6, after several hours of interrogation in the SCNS in the case of corruption related to the supply of excisable goods to the country, the head of the State Tax Service Altynbek Abduvapov was detained. Earlier, several employees of the Tax Service, including deputy head of the State Tax Service Islambek Kydyrgychov, were detained in the same case. The damage to the state is estimated at 3.2 billion KGS.
