Since February 24, the registration of real estate transactions in Kyrgyzstan has become much easier: citizens no longer need to obtain a certificate of absence of tax debts. Already on the first day of the launch of the new system in the Bishkek branch of the State Institution “Cadastre” more than 300 people successfully registered real estate transactions without unnecessary bureaucratic procedures.

The changes became possible due to the integration of information systems of the State Tax Service and the State Institution “Cadastre”. Now information on the presence or absence of tax debts is automatically displayed in the system when documents are submitted. In case of debt, the seller immediately receives information about the amount and available payment methods, including mobile application, personal cabinet of the taxpayer, mobile banking or bank branches.

The key advantage of the innovation is the reduction of data processing time. If previously the transfer of information on payment of debts took up to two days, now this process is performed in just 20 minutes.

Recall, the decision to cancel the mandatory certificate was made by the chairman of the State Tax Service Almambet Shykmamatov. This was done in order to simplify bureaucratic procedures and reduce corruption risks in the sphere of real estate registration.
