EEC has updated the Programme of safety standards for meat products and food additives

The Eurasian Economic Commission Board has amended the Programme for the development of interstate standards to the technical regulations of the Customs Union on the safety of meat products and food additives.

The timing of the  42 standards development was postponed due to the update of the national standardisation plans of Kazakhstan and Russia, as well as one more standard requiring revision on the developers' proposals.

A new GOST on determining the dispersibility of meat products method is additionally included.

Changes also affected the Programme for the development of standards for technical regulations ‘Safety requirements for food additives, flavourings and technological aids. In particular, six positions were excluded from the programme after the development of relevant national standards by Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia. The terms of development of 11 standards were postponed due to the actualisation of standardisation plans of Kazakhstan and Russia, and two standards require revision based on participants in the development proposals.
