03/10/2025, 12:06The area of unused arable land in Kyrgyzstan will decrease by 3.3 thousand hectares in 2025 to 35.7 thousand hectares. The total cultivated area will increase by 3.3 thousand hectares and reach 1 million 250 thousand hectares. In 2023, unused land will amount to 43 thousand hectares, and in 2024 - 39 thousand hectares.
As part of spring field work, farmers are advised to sow varieties with high yielding crops and fruits. This year, 42.2 thousand tonnes of diesel fuel and 12 thousand tonnes of petrol will be needed for agricultural work. There are no problems with the supply of fuel and lubricants, reports the Association of Oil Traders.
The State Material Reserves Fund will provide farmers with up to 10,000 tonnes of diesel fuel at a discounted price of 65 KGS to ensure quality spring field work.
