Under the terms of a 2005 contract, the mayor's office was supposed to receive 13 per cent of the housing built, but later this obligation was illegally excluded.
As a result of the investigation, 24 flats (2685.9 sq. m.) were transferred in favour of the state, which is 14% of the total number. These are spacious three-room flats of 120 square metres each.
The investigation is ongoing, the SCNB is identifying all those involved in the scheme and continues to check land transactions in Bishkek.
