24 flats in an elite residential complex were handed over to the state

The SCNS discovered the illegal transfer of a land plot in the southern part of Bishkek for the construction of a premium-class residential complex. Under the terms of a 2005 contract, the mayor's office was supposed to receive 13 per cent of the housing built, but later this obligation was illegally excluded.

As a result of the investigation, 24 flats (2685.9 sq. m.) were transferred in favour of the state, which is 14% of the total number. These are spacious three-room flats of 120 square metres each.

The investigation is ongoing, the SCNB is identifying all those involved in the scheme and continues to check land transactions in Bishkek.
