More than 100 fake visas have already found their way into the hands of Pakistani citizens planning to enter the republic.
It has been revealed that the Pakistani citizen had set up a lucrative illegal business selling visas. Two two-month visas cost $150, and four one-year visas cost $1,700 each, for a total of $6,800. He received 4,400 KGS as an advance payment for his work.
As a result of swift action, on April 22, the man was caught red-handed while receiving 87,400 KGS.
“On April 23, in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, the man was placed in the temporary detention facility of the State Committee for National Security. Currently, the necessary investigative and operational measures are being taken to establish all persons involved and similar facts,” the State Committee reported.
