Nazarbek Malayev, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce, met with Zhang Anshun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Heilongjiang Province of China.

The meeting, held within the framework of strengthening bilateral economic ties, focused on discussing the prospects of co-operation between Kyrgyzstan and one of the leading provinces of China, Heilongjiang, which holds key positions in the industry and agriculture of the PRC.

Nazarbek Malayev emphasised the successful dynamics of trade and economic relations between the two countries and expressed readiness to further expand cooperation with Heilongjiang Province.

During the meeting, the issue of Kyrgyzstan's participation in the 34th International Harbin Trade and Economic Exhibition to be held in May 2025 was discussed. Zhang Anshun invited the Kyrgyz side to participate in this significant event, which serves as an important platform for establishing and expanding business contacts.

At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed interest in further fruitful co-operation, and also noted the activity of mutual visits and events held at the interstate level.
