On February 10, 2025, the Trade Representation of the Kyrgyz Republic in Turkey held a meeting with Timucin Sonmez, Chairman of the "Ankara Chamber of Jewelers and Watchmakers." 

During this meeting, they discussed jewelry manufacturing, the technological equipment used in production, and the jewelry markets of both countries. As a result of the meeting, it was planned to organize an upcoming session with an industrial development working group from Kyrgyzstan.

The purpose is to study the technologies used in Turkey's jewelry production and explore their potential implementation in Kyrgyzstan. Additionally, a presentation will be made on the incentives available in Kyrgyzstan's jewelry sector. Currently, Turkey hosts approximately 200,000 jewelry companies, with about 2,500 located in Ankara.
