The Committee on Agrarian Policy, Water Resources, Ecology and Regional Development at a meeting today, February 10, reviewed and approved the draft law on amendments to the Law "On the Sustainable Development of the Ecological and Economic System "Issyk-Kul" in the third reading.

The initiators of the bill are deputies Eldar Sulaimanov, Elmurza Satybaldiev, Nurzhigit Kadyrbekov, Baktybek Sydykov, Marlen Mamataliev.

Information about the bill was presented by the Chairman of the Committee on Agrarian Policy, Water Resources, Ecology and Regional Development Amankan Kenjebaev.

As he recalled, the bill was developed to ban the use of a jet ski (jet ski) on the territory of Lake Issyk-Kul - a high-speed personal water vehicle with an internal combustion engine.

The use of a jet ski (hydrocycle, scooter) with a four-stroke and electric engine is permitted in specially designated tourist areas of Lake Issyk-Kul, where there are no large crowds of people and vacationers, with mandatory compliance with environmental standards and safety regulations.
