Since 2022, entrepreneurs have received more than 8.4 billion soms in interest-free loans. This is money from a special fund created with the support of the World Bank and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank.

More than 11,000 entrepreneurs have already received assistance. Most of the loans - about 5.6 billion soms - were given to small entrepreneurs for up to 1 million soms. Another 2.8 billion soms were given to larger companies up to 3 million soms.

The business support programme will run until 2027. The loans are interest-free and the repayment period can be extended for 3 years.
