The Ministry of Finance shared the achievements of 2024. One of the main boasts of the Ministry was exceeding the plan for the republican budget.

Instead of the approved revenues of 378.4 billion soms, preliminary results show that they amounted to 410.6 billion soms. That is 32.2 billion soms more than planned.

The Ministry specifies that this was possible due to effective work on improving the administration of revenues, as well as positive changes in the macroeconomic situation.

In addition, the consolidated budget, which includes the republican budget, local budgets, the budgets of the Social Fund and the MHIF, also showed strong growth. The expected 602.1 billion KGS was revised and increased to 686.6 billion KGS. This is 84.5 billion soms more than the approved amount.

“This growth is the result of a whole set of measures aimed at improving tax and customs administration, stimulating economic growth and creating a favorable investment climate. We continue to work on improving the legislative framework, introducing modern digital technologies and increasing the efficiency of interaction with business,” the Ministry of Finance explained.
