    Afghan warriors and Chernobyl victims will have their payments recalculated

    The Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration will recalculate payments to Afghan warriors and Chernobyl victims. This was reported by the press service of the ministry.

    According to the Ministry of Labour, a draft law has been developed, which provides for an increase in the amount of monetary compensation to the participants of hostilities in Afghanistan and participants of the Chernobyl NPP liquidation.

    Currently, the document is undergoing certain promotion procedures within the framework of the regulations of the presidential administration.

    In case of its adoption, it will be recalculated the amount of monetary compensation for participants of combat operations that took place in Afghanistan and participants of Chernobyl NPP liquidation, taking into account the increase from 1 January 2025.
