The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan held a meeting with representatives of ministries and agencies of the republic to discuss the second phase of the project of testing the prototype of the digital som platform, in which it is planned to use it to make state social payments. 

The project is part of the implementation of the action plan of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan on the implementation of the National Development Program until 2026.

During the meeting, the National Bank presented the draft architecture of the platform implementation for the “Balaga sүүүunchү” project, which will operate on the basis of the digital som. This step is aimed at improving the mechanism of social payments and increasing the efficiency of their realization.

As a result of the discussion, the parties agreed to continue joint work on the implementation of the project with the participation of technical experts.
