02/28/2025, 10:00As of February 1, 111 thousand 625 citizens of Kyrgyzstan received monthly social benefits. The Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration reports that 715.4 million soms were allocated for these payments.
The allowance is given to disabled people who are not entitled to pension benefits. It is paid to children with disabilities, orphans, people with disabilities, senior citizens and heroine mothers. The amount of payments depends on the category of recipients and in some cases takes into account regional coefficients.
The highest payments of all categories are received by children with disabilities up to 18 years of age and persons over 18 years of age with disability from childhood of group I - 8 thousand soms. For other groups, the amount of benefits varies from 2 thousand soms to 6.6 thousand soms.
Additional categories of citizens who can also apply for social benefits include heroine mothers (upon reaching 55 years of age), their benefits amount to 3 thousand soms, elderly citizens (men from 65 years of age, women from 60 years of age) - 2 thousand soms.
In settlements where district coefficients are applied, the amount of allowance is adjusted taking into account the established coefficient.
