03/06/2025, 12:52This year marks 33 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam, and in recent years the trade turnover between the countries has increased almost 13 times. This became known during the visit of the head of the Cabinet of Ministers Adyldbek Kasymaliev to Vietnam.
He proposed to Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Tinh to create an intergovernmental commission to strengthen economic cooperation and sign three key agreements to stimulate trade and protect investment. The Vietnamese side supported the initiatives, noting that Vietnam views Kyrgyzstan as an important partner in Southeast Asia.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed key aspects of cooperation in various economic fields, as well as transport and logistics links. At the end of the visit, Adylbek Kasymaliev invited the Vietnamese Prime Minister to visit Kyrgyzstan.
