Raids against unauthorised trade in fuel and lubricants continue in the Kyrgyz capital. The activities are conducted in popular places of illegal trade, such as Profsoyuznaya Street from Fuchik to P. Lumumba, Dostoevsky Street and the territory of MTU Maevka.

Since the beginning of the year, the inspectorate has drawn up 112 protocols for the illegal sale of fuel to the amount of 336 thousand soms. The largest number of violations was recorded in Pervomaisky district, where protocols were drawn up for the amount of 120 thousand soms.

In Leninsky district 35 violations for 105 thousand soms, in Sverdlovsky district - 26 protocols for 78 thousand soms, and in Oktyabrsky district - 11 protocols for 33 thousand soms. Selling bottled petrol on the roadside carries significant risks due to non-compliance with safety rules, which can lead to fire or explosion. Such offences are punishable by a fine of 3 thousand soms.
