In Batken oblast, Simmental cows give good income

In Batken oblast, the modern cattle breeding farm «Ronaldo» is successfully developing. Its example shows how proper investments and sustainable business conduct lead to good results.

Over the years, the local farm has turned into a multi-profile enterprise with its own dairy production. In 2023, a decision was made to invest in the development of high-yield livestock breeding, and elite Simmental cows from the Czech Republic were brought to the farm.

In just one year the herd grew to 125 cows, and the daily milk yield reached 1.8 tonnes of milk. Modern technologies are applied in the farm: an automated milking shop was built, a team of qualified specialists is working, which contributes to the increase of efficiency and quality of production.

In addition to livestock breeding, the enterprise is also developing horticulture by planting a promising cherry orchard on leased land. Currently, the construction of its own dairy plant is being finalised, which will provide a full cycle of processing of dairy products. This project will become a model of successful development of the agro-industrial sector and will make a significant contribution to the food security of Kyrgyzstan.
