As of December 1, 2024, the country produced 414.4 thousand tons of meat in live weight in all categories of livestock production. Compared to the same period last year, 2.6% more meat was produced.

Increase of meat production in the republic is connected with the increase in the number of farm animals. Increase in meat production in the republic is mainly due to increase in the number of farm animals.      

In the republic for January-November 2024, economic entities of all categories produced 1692.5 thousand tons, which is 2.3% more than the same period last year.  The increase in milk production in the republic is due to the growth of the number of dairy cows - by 16.5 thousand heads compared to last year, and the increase in the productivity of cows, with the average milk yield per cow for the reporting period increased by 52.3 kilograms.
