Eighteen new recreation centres are being built in the regions, nine of which are already complete.

Every year, Kyrgyzstan welcomes more and more tourists. This was stated by the Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov at the Kyrgyzstan-Slovakia Business Forum, noting that large-scale projects to improve tourist infrastructure are currently being implemented in Kyrgyzstan.

In particular, five modern service centres have been completed around Lake Issyk-Kul and are preparing to open.

‘In addition, 18 new recreation centres are being built in the regions, nine of which are already complete, with the rest in the final stages of construction. These facilities should improve the comfort and quality of recreation for tourists and enhance Kyrgyzstan's appeal on the international stage,’ he said.
