04/25/2025, 13:28From January to March 2025, 3,272 houses and apartments were completed in Kyrgyzstan. Their total area is 418,700 square metres. This is 32.2% more than in the same period last year.
Over the three months, 34.5 billion KGS were spent on housing construction, which is 3.1 times more than a year ago. Of all investments in the economy, 60.8% went to housing construction (last year it was 36.9%).
Most new housing appeared in the Jalal-Abad, Chui, Osh, Issyk-Kul regions and in Bishkek, which together accounted for 87% of the total volume.
In rural areas, 168,900 square metres were built, which is 40.3% of the total volume.
The main construction costs were covered by the citizens themselves: 70.7% of the total investment.
Of all the new housing, 2,197 houses are individual houses (i.e. built for one family), with a total area of 295,900 square metres. This is almost the same as was built a year ago. Their estimated cost is 8.6 billion KGS.
