Over 3,000 houses and apartments were commissioned in the Kyrgyz Republic in three months

From January to March 2025, 3,272 houses and apartments were completed in Kyrgyzstan. Their total area is 418,700 square metres. This is 32.2% more than in the same period last year.

Over the three months, 34.5 billion KGS were spent on housing construction, which is 3.1 times more than a year ago. Of all investments in the economy, 60.8% went to housing construction (last year it was 36.9%).

Most new housing appeared in the Jalal-Abad, Chui, Osh, Issyk-Kul regions and in Bishkek, which together accounted for 87% of the total volume.
In rural areas, 168,900 square metres were built, which is 40.3% of the total volume.

The main construction costs were covered by the citizens themselves: 70.7% of the total investment.

Of all the new housing, 2,197 houses are individual houses (i.e. built for one family), with a total area of 295,900 square metres. This is almost the same as was built a year ago. Their estimated cost is 8.6 billion KGS.
