01/02/2025, 09:09Summarizing the results of 2024, Kyrgyz Finance Minister Almaz Baketaev said that the country will close the year with a surplus of 6.4 billion KGS.
In 2025, the Ministry of Finance expects even better results. Budget revenues are planned at 430.2 billion KGS, while expenditures will total 405.9 billion KGS.
Thus, the budget is formed with a surplus of 24.3 billion KGS.
“This surplus indicates a balanced approach to planning and focus on sustainable development,” the ministry emphasized.
The priority directions of the budget policy for 2025 will be to improve the quality of life of citizens.
“We will continue funding social programs aimed at supporting health care, education, culture and sports. Special attention will be paid to providing housing for citizens within the framework of the state mortgage”, - note in the Ministry of Finance.
Stimulating economic growth will also remain an important task. The budget provides for significant funds to improve infrastructure and the implementation of national projects.
