04/01/2025, 17:01Kyrgyzstan has concluded air service agreements with 33 countries, but at the moment flights are carried out only with 15 of them, including Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, China, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Thailand and others. This was reported by Kanat Tologonov, deputy director of the State Civil Aviation Agency.
He explained that such agreements between countries create legal conditions for regular flights, but the market itself shapes demand.
‘Airlines do not perform flights to some destinations if there is not enough demand,’ he noted, adding that flights are most often carried out in the format of charter flights.
As an example, he cited Vietnam, where only charter flights are currently operated. However, Aero Nomad Airlines has submitted a request to open regular flights on this route.
